Bristol’s Business Crime Reduction Partnership

The BCRP brings together BIDs, Businesses, the local authority, and the police to reduce crime and its impact. To contact us, please email info@bristolbcrp.org

Together we’re making Bristol a safer and more welcoming city for everyone.

The BCRP is now active across three of Bristol’s BIDs: Bristol City Centre, Redcliffe & Temple, and Broadmead. It was established in 2019 as a development of the long-running Crime Reduction Partnership led by Broadmead Business Improvement District (BID). Our Projects

Who We Are

Our BCRP members represent Bristol’s diverse day and night-time economies and are a valuable support network for one another.

Members benefit from our specialist information-sharing technology to help prevent and detect crime. We are also nurturing a stronger relationship between businesses, the police, local authorities and partners for a more coordinated response to business crime.

Events

We are currently working on a variety of meetings and workshops that BCRP members can attend.Retail Security MeetingsCollapse

Taking place on the first Wednesday of every month, the Retail Security meetings ensure all retailers located within the Bristol City Centre, Redcliffe & Temple and Broadmead BIDs are up to date on current crime topics.

Avon and Somerset Police provide advice on dealing with shoplifting and anti-social behaviour and the latest crime statistics.

The meetings give retailers the opportunity to have their say on issues, which are affecting their store and the local area. They are also an ideal forum in which to meet and share knowledge with neighbouring stores, helping us all to form a cohesive approach to tackling crime.

The meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at Cabot Circus Management Suite at 11am-12pm.

If you have any queries about the Retail Security meeting please contact Carmen.
